Although learning how to play the piano is hard work it should also be fun. While learning the fundamentals of piano technique, students will gain experience composing their own music, improvising, and completing unique activities to reinforce their musical understanding.

No two students are alike and lessons are catered for each student’s needs and goals in a nurturing environment. Sometimes there are hurdles to overcome, but with consistent practice and encouragement students will be able to deeply appreciate and enjoy playing the piano.

well as a Bachelor of Arts, specialization in music, and a Bachelor of Education. I am a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. I consistently attend music education workshops and most recently have completed two Orff Level courses through the Royal Conservatory of Music.

As well as teaching private piano lessons I currently teach classroom music to children in Grades K-8. I make every effort to make each lesson educational as well as enjoyable and I am fully committed to the progress of each of my students.

Policy

• Lessons are paid for at the beginning of each two month session.
• Students sign up for a lesson day and time which is reserved each week.
• If a lesson is cancelled with 24 hour notice every effort will be made to make up the piano lesson.
